Contributions* Modeling of lipid-related intra- and intercellular pathways and networks, with a special emphasis on perturbations caused by diseases.
  • Acquisition and mining of data about lipidderived components and processes in regard to different organs/tissues (intercellular relationships).
  • Organizing and storing these data within a public database (data curation). That will be done within the framework of our EndoNet database on endocrine regulation, as well as our CYTOMER ontology of cells, structures, and organs of the human organism.
  • Creating and analyzing an integral network of lipid-related communications between different organs/tissues within the whole organism.
  • Contributing to knowledge and hypothesis driven data analysis.
